A joint venture will be set up between the Perak government and the Railway Assets Corporation (RAC) to develop a land surrounding the Ipoh railway station, totalling 193.7 acres.

Transport Minister Anthony Loke said that during the signing of a memorandum of understanding (MoU) between RAC and Perak Mentri Besar Inc (MBI) on Friday, adding that its vision was to maximise the value of its railway assets.
