భారీ వర్షాలకు ఈశాన్య రాష్ట్రాలు అతలాకుతలం అవుతున్నాయి. కుండపోతగా కురుస్తున్న వర్షాలకు జన జీవనం పూర్తిగా స్తంభించింది. వరదల కారణంగా జనం తీవ్ర అవస్థలు పడుతున్నారు. గూడు కోల్పోయిన ప్రజలు బిక్కుబిక్కు మంటూ కాలం వెళ్లదీస్తున్నారు. వరదల కారణంగా ఇప్పటి వరకు 100 మందికిపైగా మృత్యువాత పడ్డారు.
