High alert across 20 villages of Bharuch, Ankleshwar and Jhagadia in Gujarat after river Narmada breached its banks. Excess water from the Sardar Sarovar Dam is flooding low-lying areas. At least 4000 people have been evacuated from flood-prone areas.
