The space rock known as 2020 AB2 is approaching Earth, and will fly near to our planet on Sunday, January 12. AB2 is travelling at a staggering 7.9 kilometres per second - a mind bending 28,440 kilometres per hour. At that speed, the asteroid would be able to make it from London to New York in around six minutes.
