Maulana Saad, the chief of the Tablighi Jamaat, has opened up about several allegations levelled against him in a recent interview to a news channel. As per Maulana Saad, Tablighi Jamaat is not responsible for spreading COVID-19 in the country. He said he has been supporting the investigation and has duly responded to all notices by the Delhi Police.

तबलीगी जमात के प्रमुख मौलाना साद ने ई-मेल के जरिए सवालों के जवाब देते हुए कहा कि, 'हमने लॉकडाउन के दौरान मरकज में किसी को इनवाइट नहीं किया था. हमने अपने सारे प्रोग्राम 23 मार्च को यानी लॉकडाउन के पहले ही रद्द कर चुके थे. सभी जमाती लॉकडाउन के काफी पहले मरकज आ गए थे और वो लॉकडाउन की वजह से अपने घर नहीं जा पाए थे.'
