The Reserve Bank of India has slapped a penalty amounting to a total of Rs 6.50 crore on Bank of India, Karnataka Bank, and Saraswat Cooperative Bank. The central bank said that Bank of India, a public lender incorporated in 1906, has been fined for non-compliance with certain provisions, including income Recognition, Asset Classification and Provisioning pertaining to advances

लॉकडाउन के बीच भारतीय रिजर्व बैंक ने तीन बैंकों पर 6.5 करोड़ का जुर्माना लगाया है. ये जुर्माना-बैंक ऑफ इंडिया, कर्नाटक बैंक और सारस्वत को-ऑपरेटिव बैंक पर लगा है. आरोप है क‍ि इन बैंकों ने आरबीआई के नियमों का उल्‍लंघन किया है.
