AGR Case: DoT withdraws PSU bill after Supreme Court rebuke. After the Supreme Court's rebuke in the much-talked-about AGR case, the telecom department of the central government has withdrawn 96 percent of the bill amounting to four lakh crores of PSUs. Solicitor General Tushar Mehta, on behalf of DoT, told the court that 96 percent i.e. Rs 3.7 lakh crore worth of bills have been withdrawn.

बहुचर्चित AGR मामले में सुप्रीम कोर्ट की फटकार के बाद केंद्र सरकार की टेलिकॉम डिपार्टमेंट ने PSU के चार लाख करोड के बकाया में से 96 फीसदी बिल को वापस ले लिया है. DoT की ओर से सॉलिसिटर जनरल तुषार मेहता ने कोर्ट को बताया कि 96 फीसदी यानी 3.7 लाख करोड़ रुपये के बिल वापस ले लिए गए हैं.
