President Rodrigo Duterte addresses the nation and announces the updated quarantine status of cities and provinces as the country continues to battle the spread of the Coronavirus Disease 2019 (COVID-19) and pursues efforts towards economic recovery.

Following the recommendations set by the Inter-Agency Task Force for the Management of Emerging Infectious Diseases (IATF-EID) in a meeting presided by the President, the new quarantine measures shall take effect on July 1-15, 2020.
