Prime Minister Tun Dr Mahathir Mohamad has quashed allegations that the Pakatan Harapan-led government will not protect Islam, saying that the government would continue to be responsible in administrating the country without doing anything contrary to Islamic teachings.

Dr Mahathir said that during the Parti Pribumi Bersatu breaking of fast event at Putrajaya on Monday.
