Members of the public should ask for the authority card of ministry's personnel should they be concerned on whether the public health official carrying out Covid-19 monitoring in their neighbourhoods were indeed from the ministry, said Datuk Dr Noor Hisham Abdullah.

The Health director-general said that on Monday, adding that the public can also contact their local district health office or the police for verification.

Dr Noor Hisham was asked to respond on a viral message via WhatsApp that three men claiming to be Ministry of Health personnel without wearing personal protective equipment (PPE), were spotted at trying to break into a house in Shah Alam.

The Health director-general clarified that the men in the video were indeed public health officials, adding that a police report was lodged on the matter.
