Bread pakoda is a nice tea time snack. This is very easy and quick recipe. Bread pakoda taste awesome with hot masala tea in especially rainy season. Enjoy delicious bread pakoda and don’t forget to like, comment and subscribe.
Ingredient:
• 1/2 cup Besan
• 2 tsp Rice flour
• 1/4 tsp Turmeric powder
• 1/2 tsp Red chili powder
• A pinch of Ajwain / Carom seeds
• Salt to taste
• A pinch of baking soda
• Finely chopped Coriander leaves
• 3 White Bread slices
• Oil for frying
Method:
• Take besan into a bowl.
• Add rice flour, turmeric powder, red chili powder, ajwain, salt and a
pinch of baking soda.
• Do not add much soda.
• Mix well and add water.
• Make batter as we make for batata bhaji. It should not be too thin
and have a little thicker consistency.
• Beat the batter really good for about 3-4 minutes.
• Add coriander leaves and mix well again.
• Batter for pakoda is already.
• Give it a standing time of about 15-20 minutes.
• Take bread slices and cut off its edges.
• You can deep the edges in batter and fry them. These pakodas
also taste good.
• You can keep the edges if you don’ want to chop them off.
• Cut the bread across into triangular pieces.
• Heat up oil in a pan.
• Take the batter and mix it once.
• Dip the slice into the batter and coat it really good from both
sides.
• Drop it into hot oil.
• Fry for about 2 minutes and flip over.
• Fry from other side as well.
• Fry until pakoda become crunchy and get nice golden color.
• Take pakodas out of oil, drain excess oil and place them into a
dish.
• Bread pakoda is already.
• You can serve bread pakoda with tamarind chutney or hot
chutney.
• These taste well with ony tomato sauce too.
