PM Narendra Modi is going to inaugurate the strategically important Atal Tunnel connecting Manali to Leh in Himachal Pradesh amid tension from China this month. About 3,500-4000 crore rupees have been spent on the construction of this tunnel built at an altitude of about 10,000 feet above sea level. This tunnel is extremely important from the point of view of military logistics.

चीन से तनाव के बीच हिमाचल प्रदेश में मनाली से लेह को जोड़ने वाली रणनीतिक रूप से बेहद अहम अटल टनल का उद्घाटन पीएम नरेंद्र मोदी इसी माह करने वाले हैं. समुद्र तल से लगभग 10,000 फीट की ऊंचाई पर बनाई गई इस टनल के निर्माण पर करीब 3,500-4000 करोड़ रुपए खर्च हुए हैं. यह सुरंग सैन्य रसद के दृष्टिकोण से अत्यंत महत्वपूर्ण है.
