JAKARTA, KOMPAS.TV - Mantan Wakil Presiden Amerika Serikat sekaligus Calon Presiden Joe Biden mengumumkan ia dan istrinya negatif Covid-19.
Joe Biden dan istrinya menjalani tes pada Jumat, 2 Oktober 2020.
Ia mengumumkan hal ini lewat akun twitternya.
"Im happy to report that Jill and I have tested negative for COVID," tulis Joe Biden.
Biden dan istrinya diperiksa tes Covid-19 setelah mengikuti debat Capres dengan Calon Presiden Donald Trump yang dinyatakan positif Covid-19.
Joe Biden mengimbau kepada warga Amerika Serikat agar serius menanggapi virus Corona. Ia juga mengimbau warga mematuhi protokol kesehatan.
"Thank you to everyone for your messages of concern. I hope this serves as a reminder: wear a mask, keep social distance, and wash your hands," tulis Joe Biden.
