Oman has a new ruler after Sultan Qaboos bin Said Al Said died. Sultan Qaboos died after a long fight with cancer. He was Arab world’s longest serving ruler. He named Haitham Bin Tariq as his successor, who was revealed in a reading of a will after the passing of Qaboos. Haitham Bin Tariq was sworn in on January 12.
