As per a report in InsideSport Moneyball, along with the new contract that fetches Raina Rs 11 crore for participation in the 14th edition of the league, the former India international has breached the INR 100 crore mark in earnings as an IPL player. He becomes only the fourth Indian batsman to get into triple-digits after CSK skipper Dhoni, Royal Challengers Bangalore captain Virat Kohli and Mumbai Indians captain Rohit Sharma. Most fans lamented the absence of Raina from IPL 2020 in UAE as the primary reason behind CSK's inability to carve out wins. Yet, in terms of form, Raina hasn't looked at his best in whatever cricket he has played since the IPL 2019 season.
