Three-time champions Chennai Super Kings (CSK) have reportedly decided to retain veteran all-rounder and former Indian cricketer Suresh Raina for the upcoming edition of the Indian Premier League (IPL). Raina, who played no role in the 2020 edition of the cash-rich league due to personal reasons was in speculations about parting ways with the Chennai-based franchise. A Raina-less side led by legendary wicketkeeper-batsman MS Dhoni recorded a forgetful season in the 2020 edition of the IPL hosted by the United Arab Emirates (UAE). In the wake of their worst-ever finish in domestic cricket's biggest extravaganza, the Chennai Super Kings management is expected to rebuild the squad of the Dhoni-led side for the 14th season.


बड़ी खबर निकलकर सामने आ रही है. सुरेश रैना को चेन्नई सुपर किंग्स ने रिटेन कर लिया है. आधिकारिक तौर पर फिलहाल घोषणा नहीं हुई है. पर अंदरूनी सूत्रों से पता चला है. चेन्नई सुपर किंग्स के ही एक अधिकारी ने इस बात की पुष्टि कर दी है. सीएसके के एक अधिकारी ने द इंडियन एक्सप्रेस से बात करते हुए कहा कि, जी हां, हम सुरेश रैना को रिटेन कर रहे हैं और एम एस धौनी ही टीम के कप्तान रहेंगे. हरभजन सिंह के अलावा हम कुछ और खिलाड़ियों को रीलिज करेंगे. सूत्रों की मानें तो सीएसके केदार जाधव, स्पिनर पीयूष चावला और मुरली विजय को रीलिज कर सकती है. यानी कि अब सुरेश रैना के फैन्स चैन की सांस ले सकते हैं. गौरतलब है कि पिछल्ले कुछ दिनों से लगातार सुरेश रैना के टीम से निकाले जाने की खबरें बाहर आ रही थी. धोनी के साथ हुई कहासुनी को मुख्य कारण बताया जा रहा था. कहा तो ये भी जा रहा था कि उनका टीम मैनेजमेंट के साथ कुछ खटपट है.
