On the occasion of Republic Day, the main accused Deep Sidhu has been arrested by the Special Cell of Delhi Police in the case of violence in the Red Fort and hoisting of the religious flag. Delhi Police placed a reward of Rs 1 lakh each on four people including Deep Sidhu. All of them were accused of committing a nuisance inside the Red Fort, hoisting the religious flag and inciting people. During interrogation, actor Deep Sidhu told the police that I had gone with everyone towards the Red Fort but there was no wrong intention.

गणतंत्र दिवस के मौके पर लालकिले में हुई हिंसा और धार्मिक झंडा फहराने के मामले में मुख्य आरोपी दीप सिद्धू को दिल्ली पुलिस की स्पेशल सेल ने गिरफ्तार कर लिया है। दिल्ली पुलिस ने दीप सिद्धू समेत चार लोगों पर एक-एक लाख रुपये का इनाम रखा था। ये सभी लालकिले के अंदर उपद्रव करने, धार्मिक झंडा फहराने और लोगों को उकसाने के आरोपी थे। पूछताछ के दौरान अभिनेता दीप सिद्धू ने पुलिस को बताया कि मैं सबके साथ लाल किले की तरफ चला गया था लेकिन कोई भी गलत इरादा नहीं था।
