हिंदू धर्म में बसंत पंचमी का विशेष महत्व है. इस दिन शादी-विवाह करना शुभ होता है. इस साल ग्रहों का तालमेल ठीक नहीं होने के कारण 17 अप्रैल तक शादी के लिए शुभ दिन नहीं है. लेकिन विवाह की उत्सुकता से प्रतीक्षा करने वालों के लिए बसंत पंचमी का दिन शुभ रहेगा. इस दिन दूल्हे घोड़ी चढ़ सकेंगे और दुल्हनें डोली पर सवार हो सकेंगी.
