Hop Shoots, a vegetable grown by a farmer in Bihar is cooking up a storm after an IAS officer tweeted a collage of two photos and wrote: ''One kilogram of this vegetable costs about ₹ 1 lakh ! World's costliest vegetable,'hop-shoots' is being cultivated by Amresh Singh an enterprising farmer from Bihar, the first one in India.

क्या आप दुनिया की सबसे महंगी सब्जी के बारे में जानते हैं? इस सब्जी का नाम है हॉपशूट्स। दिखने में घास की तरह लगने वाली इस सब्जी के एक किलोग्राम की कीमत लगभग 1 लाख रुपये है। बिहार के किसान अमरेश सिंह पांच साल से हॉप शूट्स की खेती कर रहे हैं, जिससे उन्हें छप्परफाड़ कमाई हो रही है।इसका इस्तेमाल ज्यादातर बीयर में फ्लेवरिंग एजेंट के तौर पर किया जाता था.
