With only days left for the high stakes election, the State is witnessing an increase in the number of COVID-19 infections. The State recorded 303 cases in the past 24 hours and one death. Kolkata recorded 96 cases and North 24 Parganas 74. Except three, all the 23 districts recorded infections in the past 24 hours.

बंगाल में कोरोना के मामले में अचानक तेज वृद्धि हुई है. सोमवार को पश्चिम बंगाल में रिकॉर्ड तोड़ 4 हजार 398 मामले सामने आए. यहां एक महीने में कुल 33 हजार 231 नए मामले सामने आए हैं. जबकि अगर आप फरवरी से मार्च तक का आंकड़ा उठा के देखें तो पता चलेगा कि उस महीने में बंगाल में केवल 5 हजार 4 सौ 52 नए मरीज मिले थे जो 33 हजार 231 के मुकाबले काफी कम थे. यानि पश्चिम बंगाल में कोरोना के मामलों में अचानक 378 फीसदी तक की बढ़ोतरी हुई है.
