West Bengal is set to vote for the highest number of seats 45 in a single phase Saturday, among which chief minister Mamata Banerjee’s Trinamool Congress secured the winner or runner-up positions in the last assembly elections, barring one constituency of Kalimpong.

पश्चिम बंगाल विधानसभा चुनाव के पांचवें चरण में उत्तर बंगाल और दक्षिण बंगाल के छह जिलों की 45 सीटों पर मतदान जारी है. इन सीटों पर कुल 342 उम्मीदवारों के बीच मुकाबला है. ये सीटें उत्तर 24 परगना, पूर्ब बर्धमान, नादिया, जलपाईगुड़ी, दार्जिलिंग और कालिम्पोंग जैसे जिलों की हैं. हालांकि इस चरण में सबकी निगाहें विशेषकर दार्जिलिंग और न्यू जलपाईगुड़ी के विधानसभा क्षेत्रों पर लगी हुई है.
