Maharashtra Health Minister Rajesh Tope on April 28 said that the state-wide lockdown, which is in place till April 30 to control the rapid rise in coronavirus cases, will “surely be extended” for at least 15 more days. Tope said although the cases have stabilised to around 60,000-mark, the daily infections are still high to let the guard down. The state Health Minister further said if the people follow COVID appropriate behaviour, Maharashtra can win the battle against coronavirus.
