In the midst of the rapid vaccination campaign against Corona in the country, new variants of the virus are continuously being found. Now another scary news is coming about this. The National Institute of Virology (NIV), Pune, has detected a new variant of the corona virus, named B.1.1.28.2, through genome sequencing of the virus. This new variant has been found in people who came to India from Britain and Brazil. Like the delta variant of Corona found in India, it is also considered dangerous.

देश में कोरोना के खिलाफ तेजी से चल रहे टीकाकरण अभियान के बीच वायरस के नए-नए वैरिएंट का मिलना लगातार जारी है। अब इसको लेकर एक और डराने वाली खबर आ रही है। पुणे की नेशनल इंस्टीट्यूट ऑफ वायरोलॉजी (एनआईवी) ने वायरस की जिनोम सीक्वेंसिंग के जरिये कोरोना के एक नए वैरिएंट का पता लगाया है, जिसे B.1.1.28.2 नाम दिया गया है। यह नया वैरिएंट ब्रिटेन और ब्राजील से भारत आए लोगों में पाया गया है। भारत में पाए गए कोरोना के डेल्टा वैरिएंट की तरह ही इसे भी खतरनाक माना जा रहा है।
