In the latest development, social outfit Bharatiya Bikash Parishad filed a fresh miscellaneous petition in the Orissa High Court in connection with the Nayagarh minor girl murder case.

In this case, the petitioner has requested a polygraph test of the persons named by the victim’s parents in the FIR and brings them into the purview of investigation.

Earlier, the Bharatiya Bikash Parishad had also moved the High Court demanding a CBI inquiry into the case. So far, one person has been arrested by the Special Investigation Team of the Odisha Police Crime Branch that was constituted to probe the case.
