In a major development in the Nayagarh minor girl murder case, the mother of the victim has moved the Supreme Court demanding a CBI probe. The mother of the victim filed a writ petition under Article 32 of the Constitution of India in exercise of her right to Constitutional remedies.

Earlier in the day, the Juvenile Justice Board (JJB) rejected the plea of the Special Investigation Team to conduct the brain mapping test of the accused minor. Sources said that the investigation team may appeal for a Layered Voice Analysis (LVA) test of the accused minor.

The accused minor was produced at the Juvenile Justice Board today by the Special Investigation Team.

Earlier, the plea of the Special Investigation Team to conduct the Narco Analysis Test had been rejected by the court as the accused minor refused to undergo the test.
