Coronavirus Update: IMF has approved the largest amount ever to help poor countries. The member countries of the IMF have approved the largest budget in history of $ 650 billion to help fight against Covid-19 and deal with the increasing debt on the countries. Known as the SDR, this budget is the first since $250 billion was released just after the 2009 financial crisis.
