The center made a historic decision. Center has decided to give women a chance in The National Defense Academy (NDA). The Central Government has decided to allow the inclusion of women. The Center on Wednesday informed the Supreme Court that it had decided on Tuesday to include women in the NDA. The apex court was told that the decision was taken after consultation with three service chiefs.

కేంద్రం చారిత్రాత్మక నిర్ణయం తీసుకుంది. జాతీయ రక్షణ అకాడమీ (NDA) లో మహిళలకు అవకాశం కల్పించాలని నిర్ణయం తీసుకుంది. మహిళల చేరికను అనుమతించాలని కేంద్ర ప్రభుత్వం నిర్ణయించింది. ముగ్గురు సర్వీస్ చీఫ్‌లతో సంప్రదింపులు జరిపిన తర్వాత ఈ నిర్ణయం తీసుకున్నట్లు సుప్రీం కోర్టుకు తెలియజేసింది. సైనిక దళాలు దేశంలో చాలా గౌరవప్రదమైన శక్తి అని అందులో మహిళల పాత్ర అవసరమని ,మహిళలు కూడా దళాలలో పని చేసేందుకు సమర్థులని ధర్మాసనం పేర్కొంది. లింగ సమానత్వాన్ని నిర్ధారించడానికి మరింతగా చర్యలు చేపట్టాల్సిన అవసరం ఉందని సుప్రీం కోర్టు పేర్కొంది. అనేక రంగాలలో మహిళలు నిర్వహిస్తున్న ముఖ్యమైన పాత్రను పరిగణలోకి తీసుకొని, రక్షణ దళాలు కూడా మహిళలకు విలువ ఇస్తాయని ఆశిస్తున్నట్లు కోర్టు తెలిపింది.
