शनिवार को India and Australia के बीच हुई टू प्लस टू मीटिंग के बाद विदेश मंत्री ने ये बातें कहीं,
India has categorically refused to accept the Taliban government in Afghanistan. On Saturday, External Affairs Minister S Jaishankar said that he does not consider the new Taliban government as anything more than a dispensation and is concerned about the non-involvement of all sections in it. Apart from this, India is deeply concerned about the condition of women and minorities in Afghanistan.

India ने Afghanistan में Taliban government को मानने से साफ इंकार कर दिया है. शनिवार को External Affairs Minister S Jaishankar ने कहा कि वो तालिबान की नई सरकार को एक व्यवस्था ('डिस्पेंसेशन') से ज्यादा कुछ नहीं मानते हैं और उसमें भी सभी वर्गों के शामिल ना होने से चिंतिंत है. इसके अलावा भारत को अफगानिस्तान में महिलाओं और अल्पसंख्यकों के हालात को लेकर खासी चिंता है.
