Sungai Udang assemblyperson Idris Haron told reporters today that he does not have a problem with Umno after he and three other state lawmakers withdrew support for the BN-PN state government yesterday.

Following this, it was announced that a snap election will be held in Malacca after the state assembly was dissolved this evening.

Malacca Governor Mohd Ali Rustam's decision to dissolve the assembly was announced by state speaker Ab Rauf Yusoh at a press conference today.
