Politics over Chhath Puja continued as BJP West Delhi MP Parvesh Verma entered Yamuna Ghat in ITO despite barricading. MP Parvesh Sahib Singh said, “MCD, DDA have given permission to celebrate Chhath. Why is Delhi Govt not permitting to celebrate Chhath at ITO, which is the oldest ghat in Delhi. Why are we being stopped? I urge everyone to come here, we will look after their safety.” DDMA has banned Chhath Puja celebrations on banks of Yamuna.

छठ पूजा ( Chhath Puja) को लेकर राजनीति (Politics) जारी है। अब भारतीय जनता पार्टी (BJP) के सांसद प्रवेश वर्मा (MP Pravesh Verma) बैरिकेडिंग के बावजूद आईटीओ में यमुना घाट (Yamuna Ghat) में पूजा करने घुस गए। सांसद प्रवेश वर्मा ने कहा, 'एमसीडी, डीडीए ने छठ मनाने की इजाजत दे दी है. दिल्ली सरकार आईटीओ में छठ मनाने की अनुमति क्यों नहीं दे रही है, जो दिल्ली का सबसे पुराना घाट है। हमें क्यों रोका जा रहा है? उन्होंने यमुना घाट पर छठ पूजा समारोह (Chhath Puja Celebration)के आयोजन पर जोर दिया और बुधवार को वहां पहुंचकर लोगों को समारोह में शामिल होने के लिए आमंत्रित किया.
