A 17-year-old boy went missing near the Line of Actual Control (LAC) in Upper Siang district, Arunachal Pradesh. On January 19, Miram Taron was reported missing by Tapir Gao, the Lok Sabha MP from Arunachal (East). Gao tweeted, “Chinese PLA has abducted Sh Miram Taron, 17 years of Zido vill.” Gao further tweeted, “All the agencies of Govt of India is requested to step up for his early release.” Congress leader Rahul Gandhi attacked the government.  He tweeted, “We stand with the family of Miram Taron.
