On March 27, India successfully carried out test firing of the two Indian Army-version Medium Range Surface to Air Missiles (MRSAM) air defence systems off the coast of Balasore in Odisha. It was successfully test fired from the Integrated Test Range at Chandipur in Odisha. Defence Research and Development Organisation (DRDO) tweeted informing about the same. As reported by PTI, the flight tests were carried out as part of live-firing trials against high-speed aerial targets. According to the DRDO, the target was destroyed by the missile in a direct hit, reported ANI. Watch the video to know more.
