Ekadashi fasting is considered to be the best among all the fasts. Even if you keep the fast of Ekadashi without keeping any fast throughout the year, even then it gives virtue. Aja Ekadashi fast is observed on the Krishna Paksha Ekadashi date of Bhadrapada month. This year the fast of Aja Ekadashi is Tuesday, August 23.
