The Centre has assured help to the Uttar Pradesh government ahead of the Supertech Twin Towers demolition in Noida’s Sector 93A on Sunday. Union forest and environment minister Bhupendra Yadav reviewed the situation with the state chief secretary DS Mishra and offered assistance in the demolition process of the nearly 100-metre tall twin tower, according to ABP News sources.
The twin towers- Apex and Ceyane will be razed to the ground at 2.30 pm today following a Supreme Court order. The Noida Jaypee flyover has been barricaded from both sides, and anti-smog guns have been made available to deal with the pollution situation. Incident Command Center has been set up on the Jaypee flyover and in-charge of Incident Command Center DCP Rajesh S. has been reviewing the situation ahead of the demolition, informed CEO Noida Authority Ritu Maheshwari.
