हिंदू पंचांग के अनुसार, पितृ पक्ष का आरंभ इस बार 10 सितंबर से माना जा रहा है। हर साल भाद्रपद मास के शुक्‍ल पक्ष की पूर्णिमा से पितृ पक्ष की शुरुआत मानी जाती है। इस साल यह तिथि 10 सितंबर से आरंभ होकर 25 सितंबर तक होगी। पितृ पक्ष का आरंभ भाद्रपद मास की पूर्णिमा से होता है और समापन आश्विन मास की अमावस्‍या पर होता है। इस अमावस्‍या को सर्वपितृ अमावस्‍या कहा जाता है। इसके अगले दिन से नवरात्र का आरंभ हो जाता है। यानी कि नवरात्र इस साल 26 सितंबर से शुरू होंगे। आइए आपको बताते हैं कि शास्‍त्रों में पितृ पक्ष के समय में श्राद्ध, तर्पण और पिंडदान करते समय रखे किन बातों का ध्यान रखना चाहिए
