So generally in South Carolina, you have three years to file personal injury claim. If you've been injured in a situation where, say, it was the city of Charleston, Charleston county, Berkeley county, city of Myrtle beach, city of Conway, Georgetown county, that sort of thing, you have two years because we operate under what's called the tort claims act. If you've been injured on the job, you have two years as well under the workers compensation act. So even though you have these time limits, it's very important to act quickly on this stuff to make sure that everything is fresh in your mind and it's a lot easier to get you the full value for your claims.
