So generally in South Carolina, you have three years if it's a commercial truck, like a Walmart truck or JB. Hunt or something like that hits you. If it's a city truck or county truck, Horry County, Charleston County, Georgetown County, you have two years under the Tort Claims Act to bring that case. If you're riding in a truck, a work truck company vehicle with another person in there in a wreck, and they were at fault, you have two years under the workers compensation law to bring your claim. But again, you should not wait to bring your claim. You should hire me as soon as you find me to pursue your interest in your claim, because it's going to be a lot easier for me to fight for you. And at the end of the day, you're probably going to get more money for your claim.
