Thousands of people marched through Buchanan Street on 14 October in support of Palestine, condemning the recent actions of the Israeli Government.
The event was organised by the Scottish Palestine Solidarity Campaign while protests took place in cities across the UK.
The Scottish Government has pledged a £500,000 donation to the UN to help set up a humanitarian corridor.
Next, two controlled explosions were carried out in the Union Canal after an explosive item was discovered.
Police Scotland confirmed a controlled detonation of an unknown item had taken place on Sunday 15 October in the Linlithgow area.
The canal stretches between Glasgow and Edinburgh.
And in other news, school staff across Glasgow are set to take strike action in the coming weeks after the UNISON union overwhelmingly voted against a Costa pay offer.
Dates of the action are yet to be announced, but participants are asking the Scottish Government to commit to a minimum pay of £15 an hour for all local council workers.
