Joe Rebman's Fatal Crash @ Mansfield Motorsports Speedway 2006 (Aftermath)

Joe Rebman, of Mansfield, Ohio was killed on the evening of Friday, 11 August 2006, when his sprint car struck the Turn 4 wall at Mansfield Motorsports Speedway, coming to rest on its side. Redman, a twenty-one-year old, was competing in the Hoosier Outlaw Sprint Series feature race as part of the International Supermodified Association Nationals at the half-mile paved oval. He was driving for his father, Bruce Rebman, who also owned the car being driven by Don Townsend when he died at the track the previous year. Joe Rebman had recently won a sprint car race on 08 July 2006 at New Paris Speedway which he dedicated to the memory of Townsend.
