सावन शिवरात्रि के दिन सुबह उठकर स्नान करें और सूर्यदेव को जल अर्पित करें। इसके बाद दही, दूध, घी, शहद और गंगाजल मिलाकर शिवलिंग का अभिषेक करें। शिवलिंग पर बेलपत्र, पान, सुपारी और अक्षत आदि चढ़ाएं। शिवलिंग के समक्ष घी का दीपक जलाएं और महादेव की आरती व मंत्रों का जाप करें।

On the day of Sawan Shivratri, wake up in the morning, take a bath and offer water to the Sun God. After this, mix curd, milk, ghee, honey and Ganga water and perform the Abhishek of Shivling. Offer Belpatra, betel leaf, betel nut and Akshat etc. on Shivling . Light a ghee lamp in front of Shivling and chant the Aarti and mantras of Mahadev.
