NCCA Ambassador Catriona Gray opens choral competition for PH Music Week

Miss Universe 2018 and National Commission for Culture and the Arts (NCCA) Ambassador Catriona Gray says that the NCCA’s choral competition for Philippine Music Week showcases the creative expression that can nurture young Filipino talents. In her speech on Aug. 2, 2025, Gray said that her love for music stemmed from her own personal experience in school choirs. 'Being in a choir was my first introduction to music,' she revealed, recalling how choral singing shaped her early passion for the arts.
