The Government Procurement Bill 2025 will not compromise national or bumiputra interests, said Prime Minister Datuk Seri Anwar Ibrahim.
Tabling the Bill for its second reading in the Dewan Rakyat on Wednesday (Aug 27), Anwar, who is also Finance Minister, said it provides space for the government to uphold national priorities, including the bumiputra agenda, while supporting local products, micro, small and medium enterprises (MSMEs), and green procurement.
