The Rockets – The Rockets 1968 (USA, Garage,Psychedelic,Blues Rock)

A band that caught Neil Young's eye and renamed them "Crazy Horse" in 1969. As is well known, while preparing to record his second solo album, Young invited "The Rockets" (guitarist Danny Whitten, bassist Billy Talbot, and drummer Ralph Molina) to collaborate. The trio changed the band's name to "Crazy Horse" in honor of the Native American chief of the same name. The first album released under the name "Neil Young and Crazy Horse" was "Everybody Knows This Is Nowhere." This disc features virtually the entire oeuvre of "The Rockets."
