Ukrainian envoy visits Cebu in bid to expand ties in key PH cities
Ukraine Ambassador to the Philippines Yuliia Fediv concludes her two-day visit to Cebu on Oct. 16, 2025 with a media briefing, sharing reflections on her meetings with both local government officials and business leaders. During her stay, Fediv met with Cebu Gov. Pamela Baricuatro, Lapu-Lapu City Mayor Cindi Chan, Cebu City Mayor Nestor Archival, Cordova Mayor Cesar Suan, and several prominent figures in the business sector. She emphasized her goal of expanding Ukraine’s relationships with key cities in the Philippines, aiming to strengthen diplomatic ties and explore opportunities for collaboration across various sectors. The ambassador also expressed interest in introducing Ukrainian products to the local market, highlighting potential areas for trade and investment that could benefit both Ukraine and Cebu. Fediv was accompanied throughout her visit by Ukraine’s Cebu-based partner, businessman Curtis Go.
