You don't need complicated equipment to impress your guests this Christmas! This cabin-shaped log can be assembled by hand, without a mold, using simple coffee-soaked ladyfingers, a light and creamy mascarpone cream, and a snowy cabin-style decoration. It's easy to assemble and holds up perfectly after a few hours in the fridge. On the palate, it's a winning combo: soft, creamy and with a touch of sweet bitterness thanks to the cocoa. Ingredients:
- 45 lady fingers
- 1+1/4 cups full-fat cream (30% fat, cold)
- 1 cup mascarpone (cold)
- 1/4 cup powdered sugar
- 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
- 1 cup coffee
- 3 teaspoons unsweetened cocoa powder (+/-)

Decoration:
- 1 teaspoon unsweetened cocoa powder (+/-)
- 1 teaspoon powdered sugar (+/-)
- coffee beans
