Asean must act decisively to preserve regional peace as fighting between Thailand and Cambodia escalates, says Foreign Minister Datuk Seri Mohamad Hasan.
In special Asean meeting held in Kuala Lumpur on Monday (Dec 22) on the ongoing Cambodia-Thailand situation, Malaysia, as Asean Chair, has urged both sides to uphold dialogue and fully implement the Kuala Lumpur Peace Accord, warning that renewed hostilities have caused civilian deaths and displacement.
