A car trainer was allegedly kidnapped at gunpoint in Meerut’s Dhirkheda area under Kharkhoda police station limits on Sunday. The abduction was carried out by criminals who arrived in a car, and the entire incident was captured on CCTV.

After receiving information, police launched an immediate operation and set up barricades across the area. Under pressure from the police blockade, the accused abandoned the victim and fled. The kidnapped trainer was rescued safely within three hours.

Meerut Police said that both parties were previously acquainted. Based on the victim’s complaint, a case has been registered at Kharkhoda police station under relevant sections of law. Police teams are currently searching for the accused, and further legal action is underway.
