At the launch of his autobiography The Fry Chronicles, Stephen Fry revealed how he became the King of Twitter.

Fry has over 1.7 million followers on the micro-blogging site, and has become known for his wit and wisdom condensed into 140 characters.

"It's about being absolutely honest and up front" explained Fry, "but don't try and be anything other than yourself."

The broadcaster is currently appearing in a London show scripted by his Twitter followers.
