Shoal Point Energy Ltd. is a petroleum exploration and development company based in Calgary, Alberta, Canada. The Company was formed in December 2006 to pursue oil and gas exploration opportunities through farm-ins and joint ventures within Atlantic Canada.

The company's initial targets include the mid-Ordovician dolomitized carbonate platform play (approximately equivalent to the Trenton-Black River) on the Port au Port peninsula of western Newfoundland, as well as the South Stoney Creek lands (approximately 35,000 acres) located in the Moncton Sub-basin of New Brunswick, which is a well established oil and gas producing area. The Company plans to expand these initial opportunities into others in Atlantic Canada.
