A giant, seven-foot-tall numeral "2" arrives into Times Square via flatbed truck at the Times Square Visitor Center. The world-famous "2" makes the New Year complete in the "2-0-1-2" sign as the Times Square New Year's Eve Ball descends from high atop One Times Square on December 31st. The numeral is lit upon arrival to help usher in a new era of energy efficiency.
